Leaders of the Anti-Communist Forces and Countries
Douglas MacArthur
Douglas MacArthur was a great US general. He graduated from the military academy at West Point, and later worked there. He later became the Field Marshall of the Philippines. During World War Two, he fled the Philippines when they were captured by Japan. He promised to return and liberate the islands, which he did in 1944 as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in the Southwest Pacific.
During the Korean War, MacArthur once more led the Allied forces, this time against North Korea's army. It was he who made the famous landing behind the enemy lines at Inchon. This was the event that turned the tide of the war against the DPRK. While President Truman did relieve MacArthur of command for insubordination when the general was being too aggressive against China, most people still viewed him as a war hero.

Syngman Rhee
Syngman Rhee was a South Korean politician. He was the leader of South Korea while it was under US control, as well as the country's first president after its independence in 1949. He was a ruthless leader, often having opposition leaders assassinated. He even tried to defy the UN peace talks by randomly releasing North Korean prisoners. He was forced into exile in Hawaii in 1960, after a particularly obvious case of election fraud.
